Project Manager
BACKGROUND:
Sapio Sciences, a leading Scientific Data Management, LIMS, and ELN software company headquartered in Baltimore, MD with offices in York, PA, Fort Lauderdale, FL and London is seeking a highly skilled professional for its professional services group. Sapio is experiencing tremendous growth due to its leading Sapio Informatics Platform solution. This growth is creating major opportunities to expand our customer success team.
Sapio is looking for professional Project Managers to drive successful implementations for a variety of scientific domains within the Sapio Informatics LIMS/ELN Platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage solution rollouts for new Sapio customers.
- Own the success of a solution implementation starting from a project kickoff to go live of the phase. Strong project management skills, scientific expertise, and product knowledge will be necessary to achieve this success.
- Project plans will be built and executed upon while working with team members to successfully deliver the solution on time, on budget, and as a high quality, user accepted solution.
- May participate and/or lead requirements and design workshops to ensure quality project progression.
- May develop test plans and help lead user acceptance testing and training for the delivered solution.
- Advise customers by guiding them through the implementation progress and overseeing the application of Sapio best practices.
- Understand and document customer feedback to ensure proper configuration of the product and that it ultimately meets the expected user experience.
- May work with sales on opportunities for Sapio expansion at a customer post go-live.
MUST HAVE:
- Life sciences college degree (e.g., molecular biology, chemistry, etc.)
- Worked in or managed a lab
- Prior project management experience with a LIMS or ELN solution
- Strong communication skills
TERMS:
This is a full-time position with Sapio Sciences, LLC.
This position can be remote or local.
COMPENSATION:
